TREBINJE, JANUARY 5 /SRNA/ - The President of the SNSD Milorad Dodik stated today in Trebinje that the opening of the new hospital demonstrates the seriousness of the policy pursued by the authorities in Republika Srpska, adding that this is a grand project that was not easy to implement.

At the ceremonial opening of the new hospital Saint Archdeacon Stefan - January 9, into whose construction more than BAM 128,000,000 has been invested, Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska succeeded in securing its own funds and building the hospital in accordance with the most modern standards.

Dodik thanked everyone who contributed to the construction, stressing that today he stands in front of a beautiful facility that will remain for generations to come.

"Only people committed to the good of their people can make and implement such an important decision as the construction of a hospital," Dodik said.

This hospital, Dodik added, is a source of pride for everyone who contributed to its construction.

"I wish there to be as few patients here as possible, and I tell healthcare workers that we will do everything to keep the healthcare system stable," Dodik emphasized.

Dodik expressed special gratitude for the support of the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, whom he asked to continue strengthening, preserving, and defending Serbia, noting that Republika Srpska looks to Serbia and wants Serbia to be strong and stable.

"Republika Srpska, in the circumstances in which it lives, is exposed to many challenges, but we resolve them more easily knowing that you are with us. I am the most qualified to testify to the love that President Vučić has for Republika Srpska," Dodik said.

Dodik noted that his visit to Trebinje was preceded by a visit to the birthplace of Saint Basil of Ostrog, where Serbia and Republika Srpska have invested significant funds, demonstrating that they take care of their faith and identity.

"We want to continue working, to further develop higher education institutions. We do everything together, through a well-designed policy that should bring good to the people, so that something visible remains behind us," Dodik concluded.
