BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 2 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik stated that the Muslim wartime commander of Srebrenica Naser Orić would do better to explain how Judge Slobodan Ilić was killed and how the boy Slobodan Stojanović was monstrously massacred.
"Naser Orić is an ordinary criminal who keeps lying and fabricating stories, saying that someone from my family was allegedly with him, previously claiming that he had spoken to me and seen me. He is lying again, both the first time and the second," Dodik wrote on X.
During the attack by Muslim forces under Orić's command on the Serb village of Zalazje near Srebrenica, on the feast day of Petrovdan /St. Peter's Day/, July 12, 1992, Judge Slobodan Ilić, then 46 years old, was captured, tortured, and brutally killed.
Slobodan Stojanović, who was only 12 years old, was killed cruelly in July 1992 by Elfeta Veseli, a member of the Sabotage Unit of the Liplje and Kamenica Joint Units of the so-called Army of BiH, when, after fleeing with his parents, he returned to his village of Kamenica near Zvornik to get his dog.
The boy's body was found in a pit in the hamlet of Bajrići in Novo Selo near Zvornik and was identified through DNA analysis, after which he was buried in the cemetery in Drinjača.
