BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 24 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said today in Banja Luka that he nominated Savo Minić as prime minister-designate, a man with the highest academic qualifications, loyal to Srpska, a patriot, and possessing the will and determination to create the best solutions.
"In accordance with Article 80 of the Republika Srpska Constitution, I have the authority to propose the prime minister-designate to the National Assembly. Following the resignation of the prime minister, it is my constitutional duty to nominate the prime minister-designate, and that is Minić," Dodik said at a press conference.
He emphasized that Minić can bring people together and, through his attitude and knowledge, can influence relations at the highest level.
"Previously, he worked as a lawyer, and then served as the mayor of Šamac during the major floods, which we addressed together. He has held various positions, including Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management," Dodik stated.
