DODIK: INSULTING WOMEN AND GLORIFYING VIOLENCE AGAINST THEM DESERVES CONDEMNATION

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 6 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, condemned the insulting of women and the glorification of violence against them, stating that offensive lyrics about women have no place anywhere.

“Women should be showered with attention, love, and respect. Some of the most beautiful and emotional songs have been written about women, which is why insulting them and glorifying violence against them deserves every condemnation,” Dodik posted on X.

Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska is a free society where equality and freedom exist, which is especially sensitive to any offense against the dignity of women.

Women's rights organisations in Republika Srpska reacted after a video surfaced on social media from the Kočić’s Assembly event, in which a song glorifying violence against women was performed.
