BANJA LUKA, JUNE 14 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik says that in the coming days he will submit information to the National Assembly so that it can take a position on the United Kingdom’s intents to deport migrants to Western Balkan countries.

Dodik emphasizes it is evident that some people at the BiH state level - primarily Muslims, but also the opposition from Republika Srpska - are aware of this.

"When you attend a meeting and the UK’s foreign minister says they want cooperation with BiH in the fields of culture, economy, and tourism, and considers BiH a partner in resolving migrant issues, it becomes clear what it’s really about," Dodik told RT Balkan.

He notes there’s no stronger evidence than the British prime minister's statement that he wants to send to BiH migrants from the UK who have been denied asylum, including individuals who have violated laws and have been convicted.

Dodik stresses this is being done so the UK doesn't have to spend its own money, wanting BiH to deal with these migrants instead, and reiterated a clear stance.

"There are no migrants here, we do not accept it. Republika Srpska will not give consent to any agreements with others regarding migrants. They are unwelcome here in that way," Dodik said.

According to him, this has nothing to do with race, ethnicity, or nationality, but is solely about preserving the system and security.

"This is all distorted. The UK, not just them, but the EU as well, want this. You’ve heard the new German chancellor saying they need to address the migrant issue. As you can see, migrants are a problem even in the U.S.," Dodik stated.

He adds that now there is an attempt to impose the same scenario here, so that in a year or two, "we’ll have the same situation on our streets."
