DODIK: EUROPE HAS LONG BEEN DECEPTION; WHAT THEY DID TO US IS COMING BACK TO THEM – TRUMP WILL QUICKLY SETTLE GREENLAND

BELGRADE, JANUARY 25 /SRNA/ – Europe has for years been subordinate to the United States and is now finding itself in a position of whining as it experiences everything it once did to us, both in Kosovo and in Republika Srpska, bombing us without a United Nations Security Council decision and declaring that the rule of law is only what they say it is, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said.

Asked about his expectations and whether U.S. President Donald Trump would succeed in taking Greenland, Dodik told Belgrade-based daily "Politika" that the United States remains the most powerful country in the world and that he would welcome such an outcome.

He said it would give him particular satisfaction, given those "violent actors," such as Denmark—which, he noted, also bombed Serbs, to be able to say: "Now it’s happening to you. You see."

The SNSD leader recalled that history not only repeats itself, but unfolds in accordance with what everyone deserves.

"I don’t want to be cynical or malicious, but Europe does not deserve any special attention. And in this weighing of relations, I believe Trump is right. These are their relations, not mine," Dodik said.

Dodik stated that Brussels undermined respect for the UN Charter, territorial integrity and sovereignty, and asked whether they remember what happened with Kosovo.

"How do you respect international law when you dismantled the Dayton Peace Agreement in BiH? You imposed an unelected foreigner and now pretend that we should align ourselves with you. And that is the danger. That is why such a clause exists in the EU. It says that the first condition is to respect and align foreign policy.

That means that if they now defend Greenland, we should defend it as well. And that means that if Europe were tomorrow to go to war with Russia, we would have to participate on Europe’s side. There would not even be a chance for us to say we do not want to take sides," Dodik said.

He concluded that Europe long ago became a deception in which they constantly claimed that we would be the ones to decide what we want or do not want, only to later invent a series of measures to force us to comply.

"And before that, the prior condition was to recognize Kosovo and dismantle Republika Srpska. That is why Greenland is now happening to them. Trump will settle it quickly,2 Dodik said, expressing confidence that there would be no conflict and that one morning it would simply be announced that it was over, after which, he added, he would have the opportunity to officially congratulate Donald Trump.
