DODIK CALLS ON SLOVENIAN BUSINESSPEOPLE TO INVEST IN SRPSKA

BILEĆA, SEPTEMBER 17 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has today called on Slovenian businesspeople to come and invest in Republika Srpska.

"Everyone who is already working here speaks highly of the favourable conditions for business operations, and none of them will face any problems; we will even make an effort to be even better hosts," Dodik told the press in Bileća.

He noted that his long-time friend, the Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Janković had asked him to lift the entry ban imposed on Slovenian officials.

"After Janković's public request, I will ask Prime Minister Savo Minić to remove the ban.

If it weren't for that request, I wouldn't do it, but I will at his request," Dodik said and emphasized how unpleasant it is to hear that Slovenia has imposed sanctions on him, which does not really matter.

He said the current Slovenian government is one of the most unsuccessful since Slovenia became an independent state.

Referring to fairness, Dodik noted that although the Serb community in Slovenia is one of the largest, it has not been granted national minority status, unlike some smaller communities.

"Only Serbs weren't granted that status. That says a lot about their attitude," Dodik stated.

He also pointed to European politicians, saying that many are deeply frustrated, and that Europe today is overwhelmed by its own problems, being led by incompetent politicians pushing imaginary agendas.
