BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated that attempts to outvote the Serb people send a clear message that BiH does not want to see Serbs represented at the joint level, which urgently needs to be corrected.
Dodik said that Christian Schmidt imposed a decision authorizing a deputy minister to make decisions and take actions he deems necessary, despite the presence of an active minister.
“This is an attempt to outvote the Serb people, and it sends a clear message that BiH does not want to see Serbs represented at the BiH level. This must be urgently corrected and consistently rejected,” Dodik said.
Dodik noted that foreign policy at the BiH level has been broken, and that in recent months, there have been almost no examples of a joint political position being formed through agreement and dialogue.
He emphasized that the broken foreign policy is being conducted outside the Constitution and the Presidency, and that the minister and other actors act according to their personal or party logic.
“We reject any visible attempt to outvote the Serbs,” Dodik, also the leader of the SNSD, said at a press conference in Banja Luka following sessions of the party’s Executive Committee and Presidency.
