CHICAGO, APRIL 30 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik has arrived in the United States, where he said important meetings, talks, and speeches are expected, as well as the awarding of a prize at Judson University.
"Back again in Chicago and the United States. I started my visit with a conversation with friends and associates, in an atmosphere that reflects the fact that we are in one of the largest Serbian cities outside the homeland - over a meal," Dodik wrote on X.
Dodik emphasized that Chicago has changed since his last visit, but that he is most pleased with the progress of the Serbian community.
"Serbs here today are more organized, more connected, and more confident in their strength than ever before," Dodik added.
Dodik published a photo from Chicago, where he is seen in the company of Rod Blagojevich, former Governor of Illinois and a close associate of US President Donald Trump, Ana Trišić Babić, Acting Director of the Office for International Cooperation of Republika Srpska, Tatjana Telić, the Consul General of BiH in Chicago, and Ranko Ristić, one of the founders of the Serbian-American Political Action Committee.
Dodik is expected to receive an award from Judson University for promoting freedom and democracy.
Judson University is described as the third-largest university in the United States by student population.
