BANJA LUKA, MARCH 23 /SRNA/ - Visitors to the Travel Expo tourism fair in Oslo showed great interest in Republika Srpska as a new and still largely undiscovered destination, the Tourism Organization of Republika Srpska told SRNA.
The Tourism Organization stated that Republika Srpska presented itself successfully at the fair, which brings together 150 exhibitors from all continents, as visitors showed significant interest in destinations in Republika Srpska.
Sanela Šimun, a public relations associate at the Tourism Organization, told SRNA that particular attention was drawn by adventure tourism offerings, as well as spa and health center services.
"Trebinje also attracted significant attention, given its excellent location and proximity to the Adriatic Sea, which tourists from Norway regularly visit," Šimun said.
She said the fair in Oslo recorded 7,000 visitors and pointed out that the offer from Republika Srpska was presented from Friday, March 20, until yesterday.
In addition to the Tourism Organization and the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska, the tourism offer was also presented by the Tourism Organizations of Banja Luka and Trebinje, as well as Banja Vrućica.
