DENTAL SERVICES ATTRACT MORE VISITORS TO REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 29 /SRNA/ – Dental tourism has become increasingly popular in Republika Srpska in recent years, and better integration of dental clinics with tourism service providers would further enhance this segment of the offer, SRNA was told at the Republika Srpska Tourist Organization.

Public relations associate at the Republika Srpska Tourist Organization, Sanela Šimun, said that dental procedures, high-quality service, and lower prices compared to other countries in the region and beyond are among the main reasons a significant number of visitors come to Srpska, contributing to overall tourism turnover.

She noted that there are no precise statistical data on how many visitors have come to Republika Srpska specifically to use dental tourism services, and it cannot be determined how many tourists arrive for these services compared to the total annual tourist flow.

"According to the information we have from the field, as well as the inquiries we receive, there is significant interest in this type of tourism offer," Šimun said.

She added that better coordination between dental clinics and providers of accommodation, hospitality services, travel agencies, and other tourism stakeholders would further improve this segment of the tourist offer.

"By creating a single, multi-day tourist program, it would also be possible to carry out more effective promotion of this type of tourism," Šimun concluded.
