DEĐANSKI: IMPORTANT THAT VUČIĆ POINTED OUT IN NEW YORK THAT SCHMIDT IS CREATING CHAOS

BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 26 /SRNA/ - Analyst Stevica Deđanski stated that it is important that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, both in the UN General Assembly and during meetings with top world officials in New York, spoke about Republika Srpska and the violation of international law.

"Here we are directly talking about the unlawful appointment of /Christian/ Schmidt, who is creating chaos in Republika Srpska. I am certain that Vučić mentioned this to everyone he met," Deđanski told SRNA.

He emphasized that Vučić, as always, uses gatherings where a large number of world leaders are present to highlight, above all, national issues-defending Kosovo and Metohija and Republika Srpska.

"He speaks about international law and its violations, which more and more countries are beginning to recognize," Deđanski said.

At a time when the world is reorganizing itself and when a "new Yalta" might occur, Deđanski noted, it will be crucial who acted in accordance with international law.

Regarding the new chargé d'affaires at the US Embassy in BiH, John Ginkel, Deđanski expressed the belief that anyone coming from the administration of US President Donald Trump would be more cooperative and have greater understanding for the situation in BiH.

However, he added, nothing can truly be resolved until global issues are addressed.

"Until the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is resolved, we cannot expect major changes. Only after that can we hope for a solution to our problem in our favor," Deđanski said.

He stressed that Serbia and Republika Srpska must endure and continuously speak about the violation of international law.

"We simply have no other weapon to bring about change except by protecting our people, strengthening economically and militarily, and not allowing anyone from the region to create chaos for us," Deđanski concluded.

He underlined that both Serbia and Republika Srpska currently have leaderships that defend the national interests of the Serb people.
