DECLARATION ADOPTED REJECTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MIGRANT CENTERS IN BiH AND REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, JULY 3 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska National Assembly adopted today a Declaration rejecting the initiatives of the Government of the United Kingdom and certain European countries to establish migrant centers on the territory of BiH, and opposing any forced settlement of migrants within Republika Srpska.

The text of the Declaration states that the parliament categorically rejects any plan involving the establishment of centers for accommodating migrants on the territory of BiH, and especially in Republika Srpska.

The Declaration was adopted by urgent procedure, and out of 45 MPs present, 44 voted in favor of this item, which was proposed by the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
