DAY OF MOURNING IN SRPSKA ON JULY 4

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 29 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Government has declared July 4 a Day of Mourning in Republika Srpska to mark more than three decades since the suffering of Serbs in the Middle Podrinje and Birač regions between 1992 and 1995.

The decision was adopted during a telephone session, the Government's Public Relations Bureau announced.

The Day of Mourning, as stated, will be observed in accordance with the Law on the Observance of Days of Mourning.

A memorial service for the 3,267 Serb soldiers and civilians from the Middle Podrinje and Birač regions who were killed during the Defensive-Patriotic War will be held in Bratunac on Saturday, July 4.
