BANJA LUKA, JULY 7 /SRNA/ - Serbian member of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović stated that the support of the representatives of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska to her veto means dealing with the intentions of overvoting, domination and manipulation.
"It is important that the National Assembly always says what it thinks in situations where a Serb member of the Presidency of BiH is too vocal. This has nothing to do with personal, political commitments or anything else, but solely with the feeling that Republika Srpska is defending itself from the representatives in the National Assembly", emphasized Cvijanović in her closing remarks on the proposal for a decision on the confirmation of the Statement by a member of the BiH Presidency from Republika Srpska, according to which the decision of the BiH Presidency on the appointment of the Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments was adopted without consensus at the session Presidency of BiH very harmful to the vital interests of Republika Srpska.
She noted that the National Assembly should be a place where all other phenomena are discussed, regardless of whether there is a mechanism to stop decisions.
"We need to talk about the problems. All institutions at the BiH level are deeply damaged by abuse, manipulation, taking away from what is the capacity of the Republika Srpska. Also, by the fanaticism and hatred that you can recognize. I have never seen in any political group in Republika Srpska what I see there," said Cvijanović.
