CVIJANOVIĆ AWARDED HONORARY CITIZEN CHARTER

PRNJAVOR, MAY 27 /SRNA/ – Serb BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović was today awarded the Charter of Honorary Citizen with the Golden Coat of Arms of Prnjavor City.

Cvijanović received the award on the occasion of City Day for her significant results and commitment in matters of importance for the city and the wider community.

Prior to the ceremony, Cvijanović and the Minister for European Integration and International Cooperation of Republika Srpska Zlatan Klokić held talks at the City Administration building with the leadership of Prnjavor and visited the Slavica cinema, which is expected to reopen soon after several decades.

At 14:00, Cvijanović will attend a memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Heroes of the City, marking the Day of the municipal organisation of families of captured, fallen soldiers and missing civilians.

The monument, unveiled on June 28, 2014, features engraved iamges of 71 Republika Srpska Army soldiers from the city area and the settlement of Ratkovac.
