BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 9 /SRNA/ - Senior SNSD official Savo Minić said that criminal charges will be filed against those responsible in the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH for abuses related to the repeated presidential elections in Republika Srpska.

At an SNSD press conference, Minić emphasized that those responsible in the CEC cannot go unpunished.

"They cannot do this while we remain silent. Is it possible that they orchestrated this plot against us? I have been pointing this out all along," Minić said.

He reminded that the Constitutional Court of BiH waited for the CEC's decision and that a narrative was being spread on the ground, which the citizens know well.

"They were saying that the opposition candidate Branko Blanuša would win, that the Government of Republika Srpska is illegal. Is it possible for us to function in this way and not react?" Minić asked.

He stated that in that case they would be irresponsible politicians, emphasizing that they are not, and that Republika Srpska’s reaction was compelled.

"After this victory, we are even more aware, with even more open eyes, and even more prepared. We will have to move forward with implementing the measures that will ensure the will of the citizens is protected. The citizens have shown what their will is, and now we must put all those institutions that obstruct it in their proper place," Minić emphasized.

He stated that members of the coalition who were on the polling boards were belittled and accused of stealing or rigging the elections, and that all of this changed after the victory.

According to him, it is now clear that the international community has contaminated this political space through Christian Schmidt, and that people are living in an unhealthy environment, which is why a clear message had to be sent to Sarajevo.

He said that through Christian Schmidt, many negative things have been imposed in BiH, and pointed out that the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH punish someone for holding a picture of Ratko Mladić or Radovan Karadžić.

"Of course, this does not happen in the Federation of BiH. It also does not happen when we hear gunfire at some of their events," Minić concluded.
