CONTINUATION OF COOPERATION WITH LOCAL SPORTS CLUBS AND CULTURAL-ARTISTIC SOCIETIES

MRKONJIĆ GRAD, SEPTEMBER 9 /SRNA/ – Divna Aničić, CEO of the Hydro Power Plant on the River Vrbas, met today with representatives of local sports clubs and two cultural-artistic societies to discuss continuing cooperation and advertising as a form of support for their activities.

Aničić told the press that the company is operating successfully and recording positive business results, which has enabled it this year to carry out promotional activities to support sports clubs, cultural-artistic societies, as well as the Petar Kočić Cultural and Sports Centre, which organises numerous events.

"Our company has carried out all procedures in accordance with the law, so today we agreed on how the funds will be allocated and how the activities will be implemented. The most important thing is that the ultimate beneficiaries of this cooperation are our children who are members of sports clubs and cultural-artistic societies," Aničić emphasized.

Mrkonjić Grad Mayor Dragan Vođević thanked the management of the Hydro Power Plant on the River Vrbas for the project it will implement, stressing that the funds will be of great benefit to civic associations, sports clubs, and everyone who contributes to the cultural and sporting life of the local community.

According to him, the municipality provides most of the funding for their activities from its budget, but any additional assistance is welcome in implementing numerous projects.

Ivana Popović, artistic director of the Petar Kočić Cultural and Artistic Society, thanked the Hydro Power Plant on the River Vrbas, which has supported their activities for many years.

She said that part of the funds they receive will be used to purchase traditional costumes, as the society has 250 members.
