CONSULTATIONS WITH POLITICAL PARTY REPRESENTATIVES BEGIN

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister-designate for forming the new Government of Republika Srpska Savo Minić has begun consultations with representatives of political parties, starting with a meeting with the SNSD delegation.

The meeting is taking place at the Republika Srpska Government's Administrative Centre and is attended by SNSD deputy leaders, Željka Cvijanović, Radovan Višković and Sanja Vulić; the party’s Secretary General Srđan Amidžić; Organisational Secretary Igor Dodik; and SNSD Spokesperson Radovan Kovačević.

Following the SNSD, representatives of the Socialist Party are scheduled to meet at 11:00 AM, with the NPS /People's Party of Srpska/ and DNS /Democratic People's Alliance/ expected an hour later.

At 1:00 PM, representatives of the United Srpska are scheduled, followed by the SPS /Socialist Party of Srpska/ at 2:00 PM, and a meeting with DEMOS representatives is planned for 3:00 PM.

Minić previously told SRNA that some current ministers will remain in the new government, considering their involvement in important ongoing projects that need to be completed.

He stated that after consultations with parliamentary political parties, he will also meet with social partners and the non-governmental sector, and that policy agenda and a session of the Republika Srpska National Assembly could take place next week.
