CALL TO SRPSKA AND SERBIA GOVERNMENTS TO ACCELERATE BUILDING OF MEMORIAL CENTERS

BELGRADE, MARCH 26 /SRNA/ – The Serbia–Republika Srpska Parliamentary Forum will submit a request to the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska to accelerate the implementation of plans to build memorial centers dedicated to the victims of the NDH genocide, which will be located in Belgrade and Donja Gradina, it was decided at today's session in Belgrade.

The governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska are asked to form a joint committee to carry out this project.

The forum also called for the long-standing initiative to produce joint textbooks for Serbia and Republika Srpska in the national subject group to finally be realized.

These textbooks would cover history, the Serbian language and geography, as well as primary school textbooks for natural and social sciences.
