CALL CLAIMS BOMB AND EXPLOSIVES IN STUDENT'S SCHOOLBAG

TREBINJE, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA/ - Police in Trebinje received a telephone report from an unknown caller today claiming that a bomb and one kilogram of explosives were inside a student's schoolbag at the Secondary School Centre, but the report proved to be false, the Trebinje Police Administration said.

The bomb threat was reported at 1.36 p.m. and police immediately went to the scene and carried out an anti-sabotage inspection of the school building.

Police determined that the report was false and said officers were taking steps to establish all the circumstances surrounding the call.

The Trebinje Police Administration reminds that knowingly making a false report constitutes the criminal offence of falsely reporting a crime and that individuals who abuse such situations may face criminal liability.
