BY FAILING TO PUBLISH RESULTS, THE CEC ONLY CONFIRMS IT IS IN SCHMIDT’S HANDS

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 13 /SRNA/ – By failing to publish the election results within the legal deadline and to confirm the victory of Siniša Karan, the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH is confirming that it is in the hands of Christian Schmidt and that Sarajevo wants to decide instead, said Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac.

“This will not be allowed,” Košarac wrote on X.

The deadline for determining the results of presidential snap elections in Republika Srpska has expired, but the CEC has not issued any statement.

According to incomplete results, SNSD candidate Siniša Karan won 50.39 percent of the vote, while his SDS opponent Branko Blanuša won 48.22 percent.
