BANJA LUKA, APRIL 1 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Minister of Interior Željko Budimir says that the Ministry will monitor all activities related to the newly formed Zagreb-Tirana-Priština military alliance, emphasizing that all actions will be coordinated with official Belgrade and Serbia's defence system.
Budimir told press in Banja Luka that the formation of this alliance was not needed in the region, especially after the traumatic experiences of the 1990s.
He pointed out that it is obvious that this is a specific task directed against Serbia and Republika Srpska, and the Serb people in general, who have been treated in a particular way in the region since the 1990s.
"The question arises: who needs such an alliance? Especially if we know that both Albania and Croatia are members of the NATO alliance and therefore part of the collective defence system, while the southern Serbia's province is occupied," Budimir said.
He recalled that Serbia and Republika Srpska are developing a system of military neutrality and non-alignment with any military alliance.
