BUDIMIR: WE HAVE INFORMATION THAT ŽDRALE IS IN FBiH

PALE, AUGUST 24 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Interior Minister Željko Budimir says that the police have information that Đorđe Ždrale is in FBiH, beyond the reach of Republika Srpska law enforcement authorities.

"As for the shooting that took place on August 2, the police have reasonable grounds to suspect that Đorđe Ždrale shot at Kosta Pandurević. We are searching for the perpetrator, i.e. Ždrale," Budimir said at a press conference in Pale today.

He stressed that, together with cantonal police agencies and the Federal Police Administration, efforts are being made to locate Ždrale and arrest him in order to continue the investigation.

The minister stated that there is intensive cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office throughout the entire process.

"We insist that the judiciary, together with us, carry out and complete what we have started in dismantling organised criminal groups that have an impact on everything when it comes to criminal groups in the neighbouring countries," Budimir said.

Ždrale is suspected of injuring Pandurević with a firearm on August 2 in Spasovdanska Street in the municipality of Istočno Novo Sarajevo.
