BUDIMIR: WE HAVE HEALTHY SYSTEM AND WE HIDE NOTHING

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Minister of Interior Željko Budimir states that every police officer and civil servant who acts contrary to the law is sanctioned and removed from the system, emphasizing that the ministry transparently publishes such data.

Budimir says that the 2026–2028 Integrity Plan of Republika Srpska MoI clearly and transparently presents issues concerning the Ministry, as well as the challenges it faces and works to address.

"When there are 7,233 employees and around 100 individuals who have had certain types of issues, it is clear that this is statistically very small and that the number is more than satisfactory," Budimir told the press in Banja Luka.

On the other hand, he added, publishing this data demonstrates that the Ministry hides nothing, and that every police officer and civil servant who acts against the law is punished and removed from the system.

"This proves that our system is healthy, not weak. We hide nothing," Budimir said.
