ZVORNIK, JUNE 21 /SRNA/ – The Zvornik City Organisation of Families of Captured, Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians supports the initiative to permanently ban the war flag of the so-called Army of BiH in Republika Srpska, under which Serbs, Serb children were killed, making Bosniak iconography unacceptable.

The head of the City Organisation, Milivoje Marković, believes that all associations stemming from the Defensive-Patriotic War should support this initiative of the "Garda Panteri" Veterans Association.

He said that Bosniaks, by publicly orchestrating war flags, are causing hatred among their own people, which is not a good message for Serbs who want peace and life in the Dayton-based BiH, made up of Republika Srpska and the FBiH.

“In such the Dayton-based BiH there is no place for war flags, nor will the Serb people accept Bosniak iconography of war flags,” Marković said.

According to him, Serbs do not carry any war flags on cars, buses, nor in public places, but only official insignia and the flag of Republika Srpska, not defying or insulting anyone.

Emphasizing that the Serb people does not insult the BiH flag, although it is imposed, Marković asked why there are more and more war flags in public use in the Bosniak entity in recent time, while official ones are fewer and fewer.

“Do some in the Bosniak entity think that by displaying war flags they will make more ‘their’ BiH where lilies are flown, or suffer from a complex that Serbs and Croats are an obstacle to living in their ‘own united Bosnia’, with the wish that only in it the ‘smell of lilies’ spreads?” Marković stated.

He added that Serbs love the smell of incense, but use it in their houses, churches, and cemeteries, without offending anyone.
