BOJIĆ: CEC DECISIONS REFLECT OPPOSITION INFLUENCE

BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 15 /SRNA/ – SNSD Vice President Miroslav Bojić has said that the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH responds most readily to pressure from the opposition.

“Nearly all recounts, around 99 percent, are taking place in local communities governed by SNSD and its coalition partners, which speaks volumes,” Bojić stated at a press conference in Banja Luka.

He noted that the CEC, through its own decision last year, appointed polling station presidents and their deputies for the early election of the Republika Srpska president.

“The greatest responsibility lies with the members of the CEC, because they conducted the calls and made the decisions,” Bojić said.

He described it as unacceptable that irregularities recorded during the election process in local communities led by opposition mayors and municipal heads are being overlooked.
