BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 30 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić says that after the lifting of U.S. sanctions, he expects improved cooperation between the United States and Srpska, which will be crowned with "some business ventures."

"This is just one of several rounds in which sanctions are being lifted," Minić told the press in Banja Luka.

He assessed that Republika Srpska was fortunate that the U.S. administration had changed, which led to "a move toward normality."

Minić says he expects Republika Srpska to have normal relations with international partners.

He has pointed out that Srpska people simply found themselves on blacklists, emphasizing that the sanctions were unfounded.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has lifted sanctions against President Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović, the Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Nenad Stevandić, as well as other individuals and companies that were sanctioned during the previous U.S. administration.
