BANJALUKA, AUGUST 25 /SRNA/ – For the People's Party of Srpska /NPS/ and the Democratic People’s Alliance /DNS/, the priority is national policy, the foundation of which is the functioning of Republika Srpska and its position within BiH under the Dayton Peace Accords, the leader of NPS Darko Banjac told SRNA.
Banjac emphasized that he expects an invitation to consultations from the Prime Minister-designate for the formation of the new Government of Republika Srpska Savo Minić and that NPS and DNS expect the realization of certain policies presented by the prime minister-designate and by the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik in their addresses to the media.
"We will also present topics in the fields of transport and communications, agriculture, education, and several other areas, in order to harmonize certain types of policies," Banjac added.
He also reminded that representatives of NPS-DNS had participated in talks with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik regarding the appointment of the prime minister-designate.
"I am glad that Minić has been appointed as the designate, because I know how determined he is and what he is capable of accomplishing," Banjac stated.
The designate Savo Minić announced to SRNA that tomorrow he will begin consultations with parliamentary political parties on the composition of the new government.
Minić said that a certain number of current ministers will also be in the new cabinet, given that they are already involved in the implementation of important projects that must be completed.
