BANJAC: BY TRYING TO FINANCIALLY DESTABILIZE SRPSKA, SCHMIDT DOES NOT REALIZE HE IS DESTROYING HIS OWN CREATION – BiH

BANJA LUKA, JULY 18 /SRNA/ – The President of the People’s Party of Srpska (NPS), Darko Banjac, told SRNA that the tourist Christian Schmidt is trying to financially destabilize Republika Srpska, while not realizing that in doing so he is destroying his own dream creation – the state union of BiH.

“The German tourist and admirer of Nazi leaders came to BiH to visit the country where Nazis were defeated by a freedom-loving people. When he realized the truth about the struggle for freedom of this people, he refused to pay the residence tax, instead deciding to charge for his stay. All of this would be funny if it weren’t true and sad,” Banjac said.

He stated that the German Christian Schmidt, known among the people as the most famous tourist in BiH, in front of the eyes of the EU – whose nature we already know – made a decision he cannot make, grossly violating the Constitution of the state union of BiH, the Dayton Peace Accords, and the fundamental principles of international law.

“He decided to distribute money that does not belong to him or his people, but to this unfortunate BiH and the proud Republika Srpska. In his intention to cause a financial crisis, since he failed to cause a political one, Mr. Tourist obviously did this to charge for his stay in BiH.

Instead of using his considerable salary to help repay the debt, he decided to do the opposite. Because, according to him, it is completely normal for money to be paid into an account in the Canary Islands – probably reminiscing about the not so distant past,” Banjac said, reacting to Christian Schmidt’s imposed decision to use funds from excise revenues belonging to Republika Srpska to pay the Slovenian company “Vijadukt.”

He emphasized that one man, without any explanation or rules, against all regulations, violating the Constitution of BiH and international law, is distributing the money of another people and the country in which he is merely a tourist.

“Well, even Adi didn’t do that. Poor Europe with its field marshals and other generals. But I am surprised that France is silent. Brigitte, help...,” Banjac added.
