BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 14 /SRNA/ - The streets of Banja Luka have been decorated with the flags of Republika Srpska and Serbia to mark Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag Day.
The flags have been displayed in front of institutions and public facilities, as well as on houses and buildings.
Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag Day will be marked today in Banja Luka, organized by the governments of Republika Srpska and Serbia.
The central ceremony will be held tonight at the Borik Sports Hall, beginning at 20:00.
The observance of this holiday was established in 2020 with the aim of strengthening the unity of the Serbian people in Serbia and Republika Srpska, as well as strengthening the importance of the national flag.
Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag Day is jointly marked in Republika Srpska and Serbia in remembrance of the day the Salonika Front was breached during the Great War.
