BAM THREE MILLION TO BE ALLOCATED FOR PURCHASING DRONES AND COUNTER-DRONE SYSTEMS

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 22 /SRNA/ – The Republika Srpska Government has tasked the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Interior to allocate BAM three million in this year's budget for purchasing drones and counter-drone systems for the needs of the Ministry of Interior.

The procurement is necessary to provide modern equipment with appropriate technical specifications and is expected to significantly improve the personal safety of Republika Srpska citizens, as well as the MoI personnel.

The purchase of drones and counter-drone systems will also significantly affect the operational capabilities of the Ministry's organisational units in crisis situations and help bring their equipment into line with modern standards and the practices of police forces in the region and beyond, the Government's Public Relations Bureau announced.
