BAM 4 MILLION TO BE PROVIDED FOR EXPANDING FACULTY OF MEDICINE’S CAPACITY

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 21 /SRNA/ - The Republika Srpska Government today instructed the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the University of Banja Luka to provide BAM 4 million to expand the capacity of and additionally equip the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Banja Luka.

The adaptation of the former surgery building would provide adequate facilities for the needs of the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka, which would be equipped with specific equipment for the practical training of students and medical residents, the Government's Public Relations Bureau announced.

The equipment in question is modern, digitalised and robotic, currently used in contemporary student education at leading faculties around the world.
