BABY DANIJELA DAKANOVIĆ PRESENTED WITH A GOLD DUCAT

DOBOJ, January 1 /SRNA/ - On behalf of the Acting President of Republika Srpska, Ana Trišić Babić, baby Danijela Dakanović from Miloševac was today presented with a gold ducat. She is the first baby born in the maternity ward of the Doboj hospital in 2026 and the first baby born at midnight in Republika Srpska.

The gold coin was presented on behalf of the Acting President by Siniša Marić, Deputy Director of Hospital Sveti apostol Luka.

Danijela was born exactly at midnight, weighing 3,480 grams and measuring 56 centimeters. Her mother is 38-year-old Ranka Dakanović from Miloševac near Modriča.

Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics Gordana Sredanović said that both the baby and the mother are in good health, noting that Danijela was delivered by cesarean section.

Also honored today was the first baby born in Doboj, Asja Imširović from the Sjenina Rijeka neighborhood. A ceremonial cash gift of BAM 1,000 was presented by Dijana Kalenić, Deputy Mayor of Doboj.

The baby girl was delivered naturally, weighing 3,900 grams and measuring 59 centimeters.
