AUTUMN IN THE VILLAGE OF PODMJEDENIK: MAGIC OF COLORS AND SILENCE

PALE, NOVEMBER 1 /SRNA/ - Autumn has a special scent and color in the small village of Podmjedenik, located on the road from Pale to Bogovići.

From the mountain lodge Stajna, which is reached by a 17-kilometer-long road, one can best see the morning fog slowly rising from the meadows and trees, turning the landscape into a painting that seems alive.

From the mountain lodge, there is a marked trail leading to Novak’s Cave and the Zečeva Ledenjača Cave on the slopes of Romanija.

On the other side, from the road to Bogovići, the trail leads to Sokolica Monastery and further on to Ozerkovići Monastery.

The peaks of Mjedenik, from which the slopes of Jahorina, Maglić, and Durmitor can be seen, rise above everything like ancient guardians of the forest and time, while Podmjedenik at its foot lives its quiet autumn rhythm, showing that simplicity is, in fact, the most beautiful.
