SREBRENICA, JUNE 26 /SRNA/ - The president of the Municipal Organization of Families of Captured and Fallen Soldiers and Missing Civilians from Srebrenica, Branimir Kojić, said that all officials from the Muslim people in Republika Srpska have in recent days been attacking the institutions of Republika Srpska, including the Ministry of the Interior, because the unofficial pre-election campaign has begun and because July 11 is approaching.
Speaking about criticism of the Republika Srpska police by those who claim they are "protecting young people who peacefully" recently celebrated in Zvornik BiH's victory at the World Football Championship, Kojić stated that these "protectors" of Muslims are ignoring the fact that war flags were carried in the processions, that gunfire was heard, and that traffic was endangered because participants drove in the opposite lane after a match that ended close to midnight.
He asked why Serbs in Dobrovoljačka Street in Sarajevo are made to remove emblems and insignia featuring the tricolour when commemorating those who were "ambushed and killed by Muslims in 1992".
"Do those ‘defenders’ of Muslims in Republika Srpska think that we are second-class citizens and that in our own country we should tolerate such disorder and disturbance late at night?" Kojić asked.
He said that those Bosniak politicians hold nothing sacred, which is why they use young people for political purposes, as well as commemorations of the suffering of any people.
Kojić expressed full support for the Ministry of the Interior of Republika Srpska and called for intensified police activities in this period, especially in the Podrinje region.
"Everyone must respect the laws of Republika Srpska, and no one has the right to be privileged, because all citizens are equal in Republika Srpska, which is certainly not the case in the Federation of BiH," Kojić stated.
