BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 7 /SRNA/ – The Academy of Arts of Republika Srpska /ANURS/ and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts /SANU/ remain committed to their mutual collaboration, which will be further enhanced and expanded, it was stated at a meeting between ANURS President Dragoljub Mirjanić and SANU President Zoran Knežević in Banja Luka.
Mirjanić said that over the past three years, several projects have been implemented under the cooperation program between the two academies, and the continuation of collaboration has been agreed for the next three years.
"Some projects are in the early stages of implementation, and we expect them to be completed by the end of the year. Plans also include scientific conferences and a series of lectures by experts in the fields of energy, medicine, social-humanistic sciences, as well as exhibitions," Mirjanić told journalists in Banja Luka.
Mirjanić emphasized that ANURS would not have achieved success in all the areas it covers without cooperation with SANU.
Knežević pointed out that SANU has additional partners in Republika Srpska with whom it implements various programs.
"This was also confirmed at the recent exhibition of works by SANU visual artists, held at the Museum of Herzegovina in Trebinje, which received a very positive reception and attracted significant attendance," Knežević said.
He also noted that SANU recently signed an agreement with the city of Prijedor for the joint publication of a monograph on the prominent SANU member from that city, Sreten Stojanović.
