AN ISLAMIST ATTACKED POLICE STATION IN ZVORNIK IN 2015

BIJELJINA, APRIL 26 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska police officer Dragan Đurić was killed on April 27, 2015, in a terrorist attack by an Islamist on a police station in Zvornik.

The attacker was identified as 24-year-old Nerdin Ibrić, an Islamic extremist from the village of Sapna near Zvornik.

Police officers Željko Gajić and Stevo Milovanović were wounded in the terrorist attack.

The Islamist terrorist treacherously opened fire with the intent to kill as many police officers as possible, and was then killed.

Each year, the Ministry of the Interior of Republika Srpska and the police station in Zvornik pay tribute to their fallen colleague.
