BANJA LUKA, JULY 14 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik welcomed the fact that the United States today holds the same position that Republika Srpska has had for three decades regarding the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague.

Dodik said that, commenting on the International Criminal Court in The Hague, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that American soldiers and officials could be left at the mercy of foreign judges thousands of miles away.

"That is exactly what the Serbian people have been saying for years. When a court loses equal standards and becomes a tool of politics, it ceases to be a place of justice. I welcome the fact that America today holds the same position that Republika Srpska has had for three decades," Dodik wrote on X.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has launched a campaign aimed at abolishing the International Criminal Court in The Hague, claiming that the international court interferes in US military and police operations, thereby threatening American sovereignty, The Guardian reported.

The US State Department has launched a campaign to end the threat posed by the International Criminal Court to American sovereignty.
