AMENDMENTS TO CRIMINAL CODE SHOULD BE URGENTLY REPEALED

BANJA LUKA, MAY 16 /SRNA/ - Minister of Justice of Republika Srpska Goran Selak said that it is necessary to urgently repeal the unconstitutional and illegally imposed amendments to the Criminal Code that were imposed without legitimacy by Valentin Inzko and Christian Schmidt.

Selak stated that such decisions did not contribute to stability in BiH, but instead further deepened political divisions and undermined trust in institutions.

“Republika Srpska must persist in protecting its constitutional position and insist on dialogue among domestic political representatives as the only path toward a lasting agreement and stability,” Goran Selak stated.

He emphasized in a post on X that all open political and legal issues in BiH can be resolved exclusively through institutional dialogue among legitimately elected representatives of the peoples, rather than through decisions imposed by foreign representatives.
