ALL MOTORWAY SECTIONS IN REPUBLIKA SRPSKA PASSABLE

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 7 /SRNA/ - All motorway sections in Republika Srpska are passable, with traffic flowing smoothly and without delays.

Road surfaces are wet and locally slippery, and drivers are advised to exercise extreme caution and strictly adhere to recommended speed limits, the Republika Srpska Motorways company announced today.

"Winter maintenance machinery was operating overnight and managed to remove snow from the roadway, so both the passing and driving lanes have been completely cleared, while the emergency lane has been sufficiently cleared to allow for safe vehicle stopping in case of breakdowns," the statement said.

The Republika Srpska Motorways company appealed to drivers not to set out without mandatory winter equipment, with special emphasis on quality winter tires, and to adjust their driving to road conditions.
