ALEKSA DABIĆ - THE MOST PROMISING YOUNG LEADER IN THE WORLD

BANJA LUKA, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Aleksa Dabić, a student at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Banja Luka, who won the title of the world's most promising young leader at the Best Diplomats International Conference in Dubai, told SRNA that his goal is to one day represent Republika Srpska at the highest international events and show that even numerically small countries can be part of solutions on a global level.

Dabić revealed that his long-term goal is to continue his second-cycle studies at one of the world's most prestigious universities, in order to acquire knowledge and skills that he can transfer back to his environment.

"My goal is to stand shoulder to shoulder with leaders from all over the world and show that we, although numerically small, can have a great impact if we speak clearly, act responsibly and think globally," said Dabić, who won the flattering title among more than 5,000 participants from over 100 countries.

Dabić stated that it was a great honor for him to represent Republika Srpska at the international conference in Dubai, which brings together young leaders from all over the world and takes place within the framework of the UN model of work.

"The conference is designed so that participants actively participate in negotiations on the most important global issues - from climate challenges and sustainable development to international security and human rights," said Dabić.

This recognition is not just a plaque and a photo. It is a recognized status that comes from a program directly supported by the UN system.

"As a student of international relations, it was important for me to show that young people from Republika Srpska can also participate equally in serious discussions, offering arguments and solutions that reflect our values and perspectives. In moments when you represent your region to young people from all over the world, you realize that the number of inhabitants or the size of the economy is not decisive - what is important is knowledge, a clear message and faith that we can also be part of the solution on a global level," said Dabić.

He said that this success gives him additional motivation.

"I want to continue opening doors to other young people from our region, to encourage them to get involved, to learn, to seek their place in international affairs," said the world's best young leader.

Dabić is already preparing for new steps, because for him this is just the beginning.

"In August, I will travel to the United States as part of the BOLD program, where I will work with leaders from across the Balkans to develop policies that empower communities and bring concrete changes in the field of education and sustainable development. In parallel, I continue to work on projects that connect sports, diplomacy and youth," Dabić emphasized.
