BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 18 /SRNA/ – Today, in Banja Luka, the Director of the Audio-Visual Center of Republika Srpska Anja Ilić and the Director of the Public Institution Donja Gradina Memorial Area Tanja Tuleković signed an Agreement on Cooperation in providing support for the production, promotion, and distribution of audiovisual works about the role and suffering of the Serbian people in World War II.
After the signing of the Agreement, Tuleković told reporters that this document institutionally strengthened activities aimed at nurturing the culture of remembrance of the Serbian people.
"It is important that republican institutions jointly create the conditions with the goal of educating new generations about the suffering of the Serbian people in the Second World War during the NDH," Tuleković told reporters.
Ilić stated that the Agreement enables joint activities of the two institutions in assisting authors and projects that deal with the suffering of Serbs in the NDH at the hands of the Ustashe.
"Together we will work on the promotion, distribution, and placement of audiovisual works on the domestic and international market," Ilić emphasized.
Assistant Minister of Culture of Republika Srpska Tanja Đaković said that this agreement is of great importance for preserving the culture of remembrance of the suffering of the Serbian people in World War II.
