A MAN FROM TUZLA WHO ARRANGED MEETING WITH A 14-YEAR-OLD CHILD ARRESTED IN BIJELJINA

BANJA LUKA, JULY 16 /SRNA/ - A man with initials Z.P. from Tuzla, suspected of recruiting children through social networks, leading them to produce child pornography, was arrested in Bijeljina, where he arranged a meeting for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity with a 14-year-old.

Z.P. is suspected of having recruited children through social networks, induced children to produce child pornography content, that is, asked them to photograph intimate parts of the body, describing in detail how, and introduced children to pornography, sending them photographs and video material of pornographic content.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs /MOI/ of Republika Srpska announced that members of the MOI, in cooperation with the MOI officers of the Tuzla Canton, searched residential premises that Z.P. uses, and that mobile phones and other items that were used to commit the criminal acts in question were found and confiscated.

Man Z.P. is suspected of having committed criminal acts of exploiting a computer network or communication by other technical means to commit criminal acts of sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, exploiting children for pornography and introducing children to pornography.

The arrest was made in the continuation of the action "Karika" under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor's Office of Bijeljina.
