304 HONOR STUDENTS IN DOBOJ RECEIVE BAM 100 AWARDS

DOBOJ, JUNE 18 /SRNA/ – A reception was held today in Doboj for 304 primary and secondary school graduates who achieved excellent academic results during the 2025/26 school year, with each student set to receive a cash award of 100 KM in recognition of their achievements.

The awards will be presented to 158 primary school graduates and 146 secondary school graduates.

Doboj Deputy Mayor Dijana Kalenić told reporters that the initiative is one of the local government's newer measures aimed at recognizing and encouraging academic excellence and student dedication.

She announced that a reception will also be organized tomorrow for 52 recipients of the Vuk Diploma, while 18 students named best in their generation will receive recognition at an academy marking Doboj City Day on June 28.

"This year, we have launched a joint project with the Government of Republika Srpska, under which all primary school students will receive free textbooks", Kalenić said, adding that the books are expected to be delivered to schools by August 2.

She noted that the city will allocate approximately BAM 258,000 for that purpose.
