WOMAN KILLED, SEARCH UNDERWAY FOR BiH CITIZEN

CELJE, JULY 20 /SRNA/ - A 36-year-old woman was killed in Slovenia, and police are searching for a 39-year-old citizen of BiH.

The killing took place in a residential building in the centre of Vuhred, Slovenian public broadcaster RTV Slovenia reported.

The man stabbed the woman, and she died at the scene, the Celje Police Administration said.

Police said that a search for the suspect is underway and warned citizens that he is dangerous and that they should keep their distance if they encounter him.

"He is a dangerous and unpredictable person, so we warn everyone not to attempt to make contact with him if they encounter him. They should move to a safe location and immediately call the emergency number 113," the Celje Police Directorate said.

According to police, the perpetrator left the scene on foot.

In the search, police are using tracking dogs, a drone, and a helicopter unit will also be deployed.
