VULIN: SRPSKA BEGAN ITS EXISTENCE WITH A REFERENDUM AND MUST CONFIRM ITS SURVIVAL IN THE SAME WAY

BELGRADE, AUGUST 21 /SRNA/ – Senator of Republika Srpska Aleksandar Vulin told SRNA that Republika Srpska began its existence with a referendum and must confirm its survival in the same way.

Vulin emphasized that Republika Srpska was not created by foreigners and they cannot destroy it either, but only the Serbs can both create it and dismantle it.

"I fully support the position of the majority of political parties in Republika Srpska to reject at the referendum the unconstitutional and unlawful deprivation of the Serbs' right to decide about themselves," Vulin said.

He pointed out in a statement for SRNA that all political factors in Republika Srpska, after the referendum, must take responsibility for further steps and must not do anything that could be interpreted as abandoning the will of the people.

"The decision made at the referendum cannot be the subject of bargaining and discussion, it is not a starting point for negotiations, but a final position on which there can be no debate," Vulin concluded.
