SPLIT, NOVEMBER 7 /SRNA/ – Ustasha and anti-Serb graffiti appeared this morning on the wall of a school gym in the Split neighborhood of Plokite.
Messages reading "Kill the Serb" and "Get out of Croatia" were spray-painted on the wall, along with the Ustasha "U" symbol, Croatian media reported.
This is the second case of open hatred against Serbs in Split this week, after around a hundred men dressed in black, most of them masked, disrupted the Days of Serbian Culture program on Monday, November 3, insulting participants on ethnic grounds and shouting the Ustasha salute: "For the Homeland – Ready!"
Police reportedly arrested five individuals and brought ten others in for questioning. Due to the gravity of the incident, the Chief State Prosecutor has travelled to Split.
