BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 10 /SRNA/ - The president of the Association of Workers and Work-Disabled Refugees from Croatia with BiH Citizenship, Nikola Puzigaća, believes that the survival of the few Serbs still living in Croatia is now at risk due to the Ustashisation of the country, and emphasizes that the EU must act urgently to stop this process.
"Through the Ustashisation of Croatia, the ethnic cleansing and pogrom of Serbs from that country during the past war are being finalized, for which no one has been held accountable more than 30 years after the conflict," Puzigaća told SRNA.
According to him, attacks on Serbs in Croatia have become more frequent recently, with the Nazi and Ustasha past from World War II being glorified, as well as the crimes committed against Serbs during the recent war.
He pointed out that in the 1990s, Serbs in Croatia organized the defense of their homes out of fear that they would suffer the same fate as their compatriots in the Jasenovac and Stara Gradiška camps and other massacre sites.
"Now it is clear that they were completely right, because Croatia is carrying out the Ustashisation of the entire society," emphasized Puzigaća.
Puzigaća believes that the EU, of which Croatia is a full member, must not remain silent about what is happening in the country.
