SUPPORT VUČIĆ, PEOPLE AND COUNTRY TODAY IN BELGRADE

BELGRADE, APRIL 12 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik says he came to Belgrade to support Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and a large public rally tonight, considering it important because further destabilization of Serbia would be a disaster for Srpska.

"I considered being here and calling on the people to join the rally today my duty, convinced that only Vučić can provide the slogan ‘the people and the state’. You don't have any other political forces capable of that," Dodik told TV Informer, where he was a guest together with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia in caretaking capaciy Aleksandar Vulin.

He pointed out that a lot of proud people from Republika Srpska are coming to the big rally "We will not give Serbia away" tonight in front of the Serbian Parliament, who have decided to be a part of it at their own expense and time.

"I believe there will be several hundred thousand people. I call o the people to come. This is an issue of Serbia and the Serb people, not its president Aleksandar Vučić and politics," said Dodik.

He also says he believes that Serbia’s authorities will finally begin to function as of Monday, noting they can no longer prevent students from entering the university.

"Blockades have cost Serbia billions in that regard, but that is not the biggest loss as much as the loss of international reputation, which Serbia has built up with difficulty. Someone has to be sanctioned for something like that," said Dodik.

He said that the "evil British" are behind everything and that the intention of Serbia's opponents is to stop Serbia with protests and blockades.

Dodik has pointed out that the basic national and state interest is for Serbia to be strong at this very moment when negotiations on the new world division will take place.

He said that many people from Srpska came to Vojvodina, to Serbia, and that these people are a serious barrier to anything like the attempt to separate Vojvodina from Serbia.

To the Vice President of the Government of Serbia in caretakin g capacity Aleksandar Vulin’s statement that it is very important that Serbia and Republika Srpska, at Vučić and Dodik’s initiative, mark mutually important dates, which contributed to Serbia and Srpska realizing that they are one, that they share the same ideology, that they should have common textbooks, a Pan-Serbian ssembly, common dates, Dodik said that they have succeeded in all this since Vučić came to power in Serbia.

"At our place, the anthem of both Serbia and Srpska starts playing in ceremoiesy. It is very important to make possible for our people live in unity. We brought the textbooks and everything else into harmony in previous years," pointed out Dodik.

He recalled that before that, Republika Srpska health fund paid for the treatment of patients in Serbia as if they were foreigners, and the students had the status of foreign students.

In response to the insults that some opposition members call Serbs from Republika Srpska "bosancheros", Dodik says that Serbs from Srpska love Serbia, and that sometimes he believes they love it more than some in Serbia.

In response to criticism that he claims Montenegro, Dodik says he does not want to renounce the Serb people who live in Montenegro and who have experiences a lot of humiliation there, and also pointed to the difficult situation of the Serbs in the Federation of BiH, under Muslims rule, which is the fate that would await Republika Srpska, because Sarajevo's policy wants to make sure to punish Srpska.
